banner recap

3 books/novels (including 1 audiobook), 1 comic book trade, 6 movies.

Another slow month. I think I’ve burnt myself out at the beginning of the year when I read an average of 8 books per month. Now things just cooled down.

I should have been more careful when I took the picture, because the books are crooked, and seeing it now, it kind of makes me cringe (but not enough that I would have to take the picture again, I’m way too lazy to do that).

  1. Another slow month. I think I’ve burnt myself out at the beginning of the year when I read an average of 8 books per month. Now things just cooled down.
I don’t even read lately… we shouldn’t put pressure on ourselves though 😉

Is “the Heroes of Olympus” series good? You’ve been making me curious about it for a while now… I don’t know.

That whole comment is really rubbish. I don’t make any sense this morning.

    1. Well, you commented at least, so that’s something! (because it’s rare 😉 )

I wouldn’t say I particularly put pressure on myself to read a lot, it’s just that I want to read more, because there’s just so many things I want to read. And lately I haven’t been really enjoying anything that I’ve been reading, so I’m just disappointed quality-wise.

To be honest, I wouldn’t recommend that you read The Heroes of Olympus series. It was just meh for me. The first 2 books were good, but I lost interest afterwards. If you liked Percy Jackson, I’d say stick to the original Percy Jackson series. Unless you want something easy to read and fast-paced.
